Mom Files Wrongful Death Claim against Her Sons' Shooter

The Associated Press has reported that a woman in the state of Maine has filed a wrongful death lawsuit. The defendant listed in the lawsuit was convicted of two counts of murder after he fatally shot her two sons in Biddeford.

The plaintiff, Tammy Cole, filed a one-page complaint against defendant Rory Holland.  At this time, she is hoping to obtain compensation for her pain and suffering, funeral expenses, medical bills, compensatory damages as well as punitive damages.

In November, Holland was convicted of two counts of murder in a case involving the 2009 shooting deaths of Cole's sons, 21-year-old Derek Greene and 19-year-old Gage Greene.  Today, he has not been sentenced for his crimes.

Do you plans to file a wrongful death claim in the state of North Carolina?  If so, contact the Whitley Law Firm to get representation from a Raleigh personal injury attorney.
