Drunk Driving Accident Results in Death
In Raleigh, three Wake County residents have been charged by the state Alcohol Enforcement Agency. It is said the individuals contributed to the August 20th auto accident that led to the death of an underage man who had been drinking at a party.
23-year-old Andrew Ryan Buhrmeister was charged with two counts of aiding and abetting an underage person in possessing alcohol and two counts of giving liquor to an underage individual. 46-year-old Mary McCoy was charged with aiding in a betting an underage person in possessing alcohol and 18-year-old Chelsea Rae Smith was charged with underage possession of liquor, aiding and abetting an underage person in possessing alcohol and purchasing liquor while under the age of 21.
The drunk driving accident took place on Tyron Road and led to the death of 20 year old driver, Max Bratton. His passenger, 19-year-old Ethan Herring also sustained injuries. According to agents from the Alcohol Enforcement Agency, Bratton was drinking at a party at Smith's residence before the crash occurred.
