According to a recent report released by Allstate Insurance Co., Fayetteville, North Carolina is one of the safest cities for drivers.
In the report, Fayetteville ranked 40th among the 200 largest cities for statistics gathered about the frequency of car accidents in the 2010 Allstate America's Best Driver's Report.
An Allstate spokesperson also said that Fayetteville ranked the third safest in North Carolina. Winston-Salem ranked 14th and Cary ranked 19th. This is the sixth year that Allstate has released the report after analyzing claims filed with the company.
Actuaries from the company looked at vehicle property damage claims that were frilled from January 2007 and December 2008 to determine how often a driver is likely to be involved in an auto accident. The report indicates that drivers in the city of Fayetteville are likely to be involved in an accident once every 10.7 years.
