16 Year Old Killed in Raleigh Auto Accident
A single car accident in Raleigh took the life of a 16-year-old boy.
Police reports show that Saleh Jamal Abdullah was driving between Hickory Grove Church and Liana Lane when he lost control of the vehicle. He crossed the center line and, in an attempt to get back into his life, overcorrected and swerved off the road, running into four trees. He is also believed to have been driving 61 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone.
Although the teen was rushed to Duke University Hospital, he was later pronounced dead. Not only did his airbags not deploy during the accident, but Abdullah was also not wearing a seatbelt.
