Man Loses Life in Tragic Accident
A young man from Canyon Country lost his life this week in a fatal car accident.
According to Los Angeles police Lt. Orlando Morino of the Valley Traffic Division, the 24-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle, ran off of Balboa Boulevard. He then hit a boulder and overturned the vehicle. Emergency responders were unable to resuscitate him, declaring him dead at the scene.
He did have one passenger with him at the time of the car accident, a 21-year-old woman whose name has not been released. She was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center with severe injuries.
The driver's name is being withheld until the next of kin have been notified.
