A woman is recovering from surgery this morning after breaking both legs and suffering additional bruising over her entire body after her vehicle was struck by another car traveling 35 miles per hour over the speed limit, according to reports. The two men in the other vehicle, 18 and 23, were in a white Buick when their vehicle was driven onto the shoulder. Police suspect that the 18-year-old driver over-corrected or lost control of the vehicle and crossed the center line. Police noted that all three individuals were in fact wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision, yet the two men lost their lives due to fatal injuries sustained in the accident.
