North Carolina Motorist Hits DWI Checkpoint
A man from North Carolina may be facing serious charges after crashing into a DWI checkpoint early Sunday morning around 3 am.
The accident took place after a 21-year-old man plowed his vehicle into the rear of a mobile testing lab. The lab, which was the size of a bus or RV, had several officers, a magistrate, and two suspects inside when the driver allegedly struck the checkpoint.
According to reports, the driver was drifting in an out of consciousness after the accident and was rushed to a nearby medical center.
Officers are still investigating the cause as to why the man crashed into the DWI checkpoint. Until then, possible charges are pending.
