Dog Attacks Two Young Girls
In Sarpy County, New England, reports indicate that a fun gathering with friends turned into a medical emergency after a dog attack two little girls, ages 10 and 11. Police say that the dog bite incident occurred at a home on 190
th and Chandler.
According to police, the 10-year-old was visiting her friends and playing when the incident occurred, for some reason, the dog was agitated and severely bit the girl on her bicep and her forearm. The dog then turned and bit the 11-year-old girl on her hand.
Following their injuries, the girls were rushed to Omaha's Children's Hospital to receive medical treatment. On Wednesday, officials from the Humane Society were dispatched to remove the dog from the home.
Authorities are still investigating the case and are not sure whether or not charges will be filed against the owner of the dog.
