Speeding Motorcyclist Involved in Collision

When a motorcyclist decided to ignore the speed limit in Henderson County, he lost his life in a tragic motorcycle accident.According to police reports, 39-year-old Gene Sutton was traveling west on I-26 at high speeds when he crashed into a tractor-trailer. Highway Patrol Sgt. Troy Mundy, of the North Carolina Highway Patrol, went on to say that when Sutton hit the van he was thrown off and then run over by a van. Mundy believes that Sutton was travelling "at a rate of high speed" when he struck the tractor-trailer.
Luckily, nobody else was injured in the motorcycle accident.
