Pedestrian Beaten After Accident

Even though a man reportedly struck a pedestrian by accident in Hendersonville last week, he was pulled from his car and beaten by multiple passersby.

Eric Loznicka was driving near Kittrell when he accidentally hit 18-year-old Reuban Wright. The teenager stepped out in front of Loznicka's car so fast that there was no time to swerve or avoid the pedestrian accident. Now the six men involved in Loznicka's beating have been arrested by the police. On Wednesday morning Less Raglan, Lonny Hargrove, Avon Fouch and Damien Trowbridge were brought into the sheriff's office, while the other two suspects had turned themselves in earlier.

Members of Wright's family also came forward to state that he wasn't even in the middle of the road, but was actually at the other end of it. Authorities will determine which story is valid while they speak with everyone involved.

Each person involved in Loznicka's beating has been charged with assault inflicting serious injury, which is classified as a misdemeanor.
