Police Arrest Man Wanted for Pedestrian Accident
Police finally arrested the man believed to be responsible for apedestrian accident that took place last weekend.
Albino Gabriel Juak is believed to have hit a man, woman and child that were standing outside of their home near 250 E. Downington Avenue in Salt Lake City. The police were originally pulling him over for driving without a license plate, but instead of pulling off the road, Juak attempted to flee. It was while he was driving away that he struck the three victims. Luckily the woman and child sustained only minor injuries while the man is being treated at a local hospital and is in stable condition.
While the victims were being treated police were on a multiple-hour search to locate Juak. It took multiple agencies assisting, as well as bloodhounds, to finally track him down around 1 p.m. He was brought to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries and then transported to Salt Lake County Jail. Juak now faces multiple charges including reckless driving and fleeing the scene of an accident.
