Two Vehicle Accident Leads to Death
A two-vehicle auto accident on New Hope Church Road took the life of one and seriously injured several others this past weekend.
According to Raleigh police, Onyemma Ndokwu, 49, was heading west on New Hope Church Road when she lost control of the vehicle, causing it to cross over the center line and strike the 1993 Plymouth van driven by Carlos Hernandez Joya. Ndokwu was pronounced dead on the scene, while Joya and his three passengers were all injured. Even though he did not cause the accident, Joya was cited for driving without a license.
