Firefighters Injured in Traffic Collision

Friday morning in Gaston County, North Carolina started out as any other day at work for firefighters at Crowder's Mountain Fire and Rescue.
As the volunteer firefighters on the engine truck were returning from an emergency call for help, another vehicle failed to stop at a red light and collided with the truck.
Reports say that the vehicle that crashed into the fire truck was a silver pick-up truck, and the name of the driver has not been released. The driver will be charged with failure to stop at a red light, according to troopers.
When additional medical personnel arrived at the scene of the accident, reports note that two fire fighters were injured, but conscious and alert, and will be treated for
minor injuries at a nearby hospital.
If you or someone you know has been injured due to the careless actions of another person, do not fail to talk to a personal injury lawyer from the Whitley Law Firm. You may be entitled to a settlement that can cover the cost of your injuries and the property damage that has been done.
When a person drives recklessly, such as driving while intoxicated, speeding or failing to yield at a red light, they may be held accountable for any damage they cause if an accident occurs. Often times, accidents involving a vehicle that has ran a red light end catastrophically. Fortunately for the firefighters of the Crowder's Mountain Fire and Rescue, they were protected by a much larger vehicle.
Auto accidents involving smaller passenger cars often sustain the most damage, even when the party at fault was traveling at a slow speed.
