Driver Hits Lexington Church
Sunday morning, around 8:40 a.m., according to reports, the driver of a 1993 Honda sedan was driving when control of the vehicle was lost as the car drifted toward the right side of the road.
Overcorrecting for the driving mistake, the driver then hit a ditch, the church sign and crashed into the Christ Anglican Church at 464 North County Home Road, troopers said.
The driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries and authorities said that he will be charged with failure to wear a seatbelt and reckless driving.
