Workers Hurt in Gastonia Construction Site Explosion

Two workers at a Gastonia construction site were injured this morning after an explosion occurred at the site. The construction workers were technicians doing contractor work for an x-ray company in a trailer on the site. The trailer had a portable generator connected to a propane tank, which caught fire when they tried to turn up the generator. While neither worker was said to have life-threatening injuries, they were both transported to nearby hospitals for first and second degree burn injuries on their faces and other parts of their bodies.
